How do I apply to study at AIOE?
Either submit your application form directly to admin@aioe.edu.au or via one of our partnering education agents. After an initial assessment of your request, our Admissions department will reach out to request further documentation.
What facilities do you offer?
We provide computers in classrooms, free Wi-Fi and access to a kitchen with filtered tap water.
Can I work while holding a student visa?
The Visa 500 allows you to work 48 hours a fortnight. Australia has strict regulations regarding fair pay, so if you believe you are not being compensated correctly, please reach out to the NSW Ombudsman for assistance.

How many hours per week should I study?
The study requirement is 20 hours per week.
Is it possible to live on Campus?
No, AIOE does not provide accommodation directly; however, we can assist you in finding suitable housing options. Both student houses and homestay arrangements are available. Contact admin@aioe.edu.au for more information on available options and current pricing.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can make a payment by filling out our credit card payment form. Please note that a 2% surcharge will apply.
Can I extend my visa in Australia?

What is the length of the course?
The duration of each VET course is specified in the brochure and on the website. For applicants eligible for Credit Transfer or Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) the course duration may vary. For more information contact: admin@aioe.edu.au
We accept ELICOS enrolments with a duration of 4 – 36 weeks.
Can I pay by instalments?
The payment schedule is listed in the Offer letter. For further information contact: admin@aioe.edu.au
I have already completed some units as part of another course enrolment. Do I have to study them as part of my course at AIOE again?
You may be eligible for Credit Transfer (CT). To receive more information about the Credit Transfer application process, contact: admin@aioe.edu.au
How do you timetable the course?
Timetables will be provided at course commencement and are subject to changes based on enrolment numbers. Most courses offer morning and evening shifts.
Can the college help me to open a bank account?
The college provides enrolment confirmation letters on request that confirm your personal details and enrolment status with the college. Most banks allow student visa holders to open a bank account. For more information, inquire directly with your bank of choice.
What should I do if I need to see a doctor?
Refer to the website of your OSHC provider to find a list of partnering medical centres that accept appointments without gap-fee.
What can I do in my spare time?
AIOE is located in the central area of Sydney, near major attractions such as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The campus is easily accessible by public transport, making it a convenient option for students looking to experience city life in Sydney.

Do I have to pay for health insurance?
